Don Rawitsch has worked in educational technology for 35 years, including staff and managerial positions in product development, project management, and customer training. He has held executive positions at MECC, Jostens Learning, CTB/McGraw-Hill, and Siboney Learning Group and has also done independent consulting, working on a variety of technology analysis and development projects. Products developed under Don’s direction have included elementary and secondary school managed learning systems, new multimedia content for mathematics and language arts, and online assessment applications. He is a co-creator of the well-known social studies simulation, Oregon Trail, used widely in schools across the country. He currently serves as a Learning Innovator for a new company, RE@L, developing a product line of STEM investigations for middle and high school use. Don holds a doctorate in education.
